India's Tata Steel and Danieli signed a supply agreement for a hot-rolled pickling galvanizing production line with an annual capacity of 700,000 tons, which will be built in India's Tarapur Cold rolling plant and is scheduled to be put into production in early 2026.

It is understood that the entrance section of the production line adopts turret trimming scissors to ensure the width of the strip and eliminate the edge defects of incoming materials; Danieli Turboflo patented technology is adopted in the pickling section. Turbulent pickling can realize high-speed pickling of different steel grades. The heating furnace is a vertical thermal spraying furnace provided by Danieli Centro Heating Furnace Company, equipped with low NOx burners, efficient jet cooling and post-plating cooling; The zinc pan section is equipped with the latest generation compact X-Jet air knife to ensure coating uniformity and coating thickness control. The zinc pot adopts Q-Robot automatic slag extraction robot; The post-processing section is equipped with fingerprint resistant and passivation processing equipment, and the average tolerance of the wet film setting value is ±10%. The entire production line will use Danieli automated electrical systems to minimize manual intervention.
